A little about myself. It has always been a childhood dream of mine to go to college and become an Art Teacher. I took five years of Art during my school years, but after graduating things got in the way. I am about to graduate with my Associates of Art in December this year. Yeah!!! I still have about 3 more years to complete for my bachelors, but I am closer now than I was. My original purpose for making this blog is for my World Literature Class, but I love to read and write so I just Hope that you enjoy my posts. I will use this page for posting my own artwork.

As of Aug 22nd I am in my last semister at BRTC. I have finished all of the harder subjects and now get to enjoy what I love to do most. Draw and use my creative side. I will be posting projects I have done while at school so be on the lookout.
The first is a fish I did most of the detail with a black fine point felt pin but added color with pastels.

Well, I must say that it had been exactly 20 yrs since I had Art in High School, and so having Drawing I and Design I was quite the reward this past semester at BRTC. I was able to use different mediums and different kinds of paper. I start my first semester at ASU in January where I will go into Drawing II.

This is not all of my artwork, but it gives the viewer pretty good idea how far I have come along during my years at college. I graduate in May 2015. I will be having a Senior Show at the Bradbury Gallery around the end of April 2015. I will be posting more information on this at a later time when the dates are set for sure.

It's been a while since I have posted on here last. I have graduated from ASU as of May 9, 2015. I have spent my summer enjoying time with my daughter and friends. I am also working to finish a 3 summer project of illustrating a children's book. We shall see what the future holds.
